Bailey Dwyer is a warm and loving 18-year-old student at Mt. Pleasant High School in Mt. Pleasant, NC. She lives with Down syndrome and was born with two holes in her heart. Despite the physical conditions she was handed at birth, Bailey remains active and loves sports! A true athlete, Bailey puts in the hard work needed to reach her goals and doesn’t turn away when faced with challenges. The students who make up the MPHS Jr. Dream Team and the faculty at her school selected Bailey as recipient of a Dream Experience because she brings joy and happiness to all she meets!
Bailey is known for her big and open heart. She loves fiercely and sees the best in others. Some of her favorite things are dressing up, putting on makeup and performing. She thrives in front of a crowd! Bailey taught her Jr. Dream Team two of her favorite cheers the 1st time they all met and she even sang her favorite Taylor Swift song as everyone danced along. Bailey’s sports dream is to cheer with a professional squad and she is thrilled to have the support of her entire school to help achieve her dream!
