Meet Caleb

Caleb Hill is a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day! This loving 18-year-old young man is a student at Wheatmore High School which is located in Trinity, NC. Caleb lives with Down syndrome and multiple other conditions which includes asthma and hyperthyroidism, and ADD. Despite those challenges, Caleb has a very strong faith, he has fabulous social skills, and he is truly loved by all of his classmates at Wheatmore High.

Caleb is known for being polite, respectful, and God-loving. He aspires to be a pastor one day because he “loves Jesus and wants to spread His word”. Considering his favorite book is the Bible and his favorite movie is God Is Not Dead… this guy is certainly on the right track. In his free time, Caleb enjoys listening to Christian music (specifically the KLOVE radio station), playing the Wii gaming system, and cheering on the Boston Red Sox and UNC Tarheels. America’s favorite past time, baseball, is Caleb’s favorite sport and he has enjoyed playing on the High Point, NC Miracle League team for 10 years. He now enjoys coaching the team alongside his dad… he just can’t get enough!

Being an only child, Caleb is extremely close with his parents and they, in turn, adore their son and are so proud of all that he has accomplished. They are thrilled that Caleb was chosen by the school’s Jr. Dream Team which is a testimony to the beauty of his spirit. Caleb’s sports dream is to meet Tim Tebow, an amazing athlete, philanthropist, and inspirational speaker who is strong in his faith.
