This 20-year-old from Atlanta is the BIGGEST Georgia Tech fan you’ll meet. He loves all things Georgia Tech – basketball, football, baseball. If it’s supporting the Yellow Jackets, John will be there! When he’s not cheering on his favorite school, you can find John playing soccer or basketball, singing and dancing, and hanging out with his dog, Penny.
John lives with Down Syndrome and due to this has a moderate intellectual disability and speech impairment. While it can be challenging to develop friendships quickly, he is not self-conscious about his difficulties and differences. His parents say that he perseveres despite his challenges. In fact, John loves to be around people and is friendly and outgoing to everyone he meets. That’s why John would love to be a VIP in the Georgia Tech Athletic Department and get to meet some of the players on his favorite teams.
