Meet Bradley, the definition of resilience. Prior to his injury, he was a vibrant, adventurous teen who loved scuba diving, traveling the world, working on cars and motorcycles, and listening to all kinds of music. Just days before his 17th birthday, Bradley’s life was forever changed when he was involved in a catastrophic motorcycle collision.
Doctors did not expect him to survive the night — let alone wake up, breathe, eat, communicate, or walk again. But Bradley has defied the odds every step of the way. Through countless hours of therapy, he has regained his ability to talk, sing, walk, and live with joy. Music played a huge role in his recovery, breaking down barriers when words failed, and reminding everyone around him of his unstoppable spirit as he sang along to Post Malone and Queen.
Today, Bradley continues to push forward despite physical and cognitive challenges. He has returned to high school with determination to graduate and never stops sharing his humor, love, and positivity with everyone he meets. His therapists often say therapy has become his new sport — and like his favorite athlete, Patrick Mahomes, Bradley gives it everything he’s got.
Bradley’s ultimate sports dream is to step onto the field with the Kansas City Chiefs and then watch the game as a VIP guest. It’s the perfect way to honor how far he has come — and how he continues to inspire others by never giving up.
