Meet Caden

Caden Cherry is a 20-year-old with a heart of a champion. Born with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, Caden’s journey has been marked by extraordinary challenges.

At just six months old, he survived a severe viral infection, and at 11, he faced his greatest test when he went into cardiac arrest at school. After being shocked five times by an AED and spending more than eight minutes without oxygen, Caden was placed on life support. Doctors predicted the worst, but against all odds, Caden made a miraculous recovery, regaining his ability to walk and talk.

Now a college student at Kennesaw State University, Caden lives with a defibrillator and manages his health daily, refusing to let anything hold him back! He enjoys playing soccer, hiking, and spending time with his family, all while maintaining a positive outlook with unstoppable determination.

A die-hard New England Patriots fan, Caden’s ultimate sports dream is to be a VIP at a Patriots game, walk onto the field, meet the players, and hold a Super Bowl trophy. His fighting spirit and love for sports continue to inspire everyone around him and we can’t wait to make his dream a reality!
