Day one began with a moment Gabe (and all of us) will never forget. The entire Fishers High School showed up to cheer him on — band, sports teams, teachers, and students lined the hallways, filling the school with cheers, music, and pure excitement as Gabe headed off for his Dream Weekend. The moment he saw the tunnel of classmates, Gabe took off running — sprinting through the cheering students faster than the camera could even keep up. It was pure joy, excitement, and emotion wrapped into one unforgettable send-off.

We were honored to have Vic Green, Bill Davis, VP of Indianapolis, and Martin McCutcheon, VP of Sales present to support Gabe and celebrate his dream. Their presence meant so much to Gabe and his family. Gabe was sent off in true Dream On 3 style — riding away in a limo to kick off an unforgettable weekend.
After arriving in Bloomington, Gabe experienced the iconic Assembly Hall up close with a behind-the-scenes tour. He stepped onto the court for a shootaround, putting up shots alongside his Dream On 3 captains. Gabe also had the chance to talk with the coach, take a group photo with the team, and have each player sign his basketball — a priceless keepsake from an incredible experience.
Lunch was another special moment, thanks to BuffaLouie’s, who blessed the group with a $50 gift card and free dessert. A simple act of generosity that made the day even sweeter.
Following a full and exciting afternoon, the group checked into the Graduate Bloomington to rest and recharge before the evening activities.
One of the highlights of the day was Gabe’s $500 shopping spree at Alumni Hall. Sam hosted the experience and went above and beyond — not only helping Gabe pick out his favorite IU gear, but also interviewing Gabe, his mom, and the Dream On 3 captains, capturing meaningful reflections and memories from the day.
After, the group gathered for dinner at Bub’s, sharing laughs, stories, and excitement from everything Gabe had already experienced.
Day one wrapped up back at the hotel, where everyone relaxed and cheered on IU Football together as they took on Oregon Ducks in pursuit of their first ever Football National Title — the perfect ending to a day filled with joy, generosity, and unforgettable moments.
Day two started with a beautiful moment of generosity and fellowship at Cracker Barrel. Breakfast was completely comped, and Gabe was surprised with gifts — setting the tone for another unforgettable day. Vic Green, Bill Davis, and Martin McCutcheon from Rudd Equipment Company joined us for breakfast, sharing meaningful conversation, laughter, and time together. It was a special morning filled with gratitude and connection.
The excitement continued at Assembly Hall for the Indiana vs. Nebraska basketball game. Vic went above and beyond by blessing Gabe and his mom with two courtside tickets, giving them an incredible, up-close view of the game. Watching Gabe experience the intensity and energy of college basketball from courtside was truly unforgettable.
After the game, the group headed to Nick’s for an early dinner. The owner and manager showed incredible kindness by providing a generous discount, completely comping Gabe’s meal, and surprising him with gifts. Their hospitality made Gabe feel celebrated and loved.
With hearts full and excitement still high, we headed to Indianapolis for the final stop of the Dream Weekend.
The weekend wrapped up at an electric Indiana Pacers game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Gabe met Boomer, the Pacers mascot — who already knew Gabe! Boomer hugged him and took photos, making the moment even more special. Gabe also met the Pacers cheerleaders, who autographed a photo and took pictures with him.
Gabe’s mom and dad were able to reconnect with friends who work at the Pacers stadium, adding another layer of joy and familiarity to the night. The evening ended with hugs all around, heartfelt goodbyes, and so much gratitude.
Two days filled with generosity, joy, connection, and unforgettable moments — a truly perfect Dream Weekend for Gabe and his family.
