That dream shifted the day she lost her leg to cancer. But while the game changed, Jaeda didn’t. Her determination stayed intact. Her fire never flickered. Recently, Jaeda received news no one ever wants to hear—her cancer has returned, and treatment options are now few. Jaeda’s sports dream would be to spend time with the Duke Women’s Basketball team—the team she has looked up to for as long as she can remember.
