Meet Jase, a joyful and determined 6-year-old who loves all things Nebraska Huskers! Born with Down syndrome, Jase is full of heart—he lights up every room with his kindness, energy, and love for sports, acting, and his tight-knit family. Whether he’s playing with his brothers or cheering on his favorite sports teams, Jase lives fully and fearlessly.
Life hasn’t always been easy for Jase. Speech delays and low muscle tone have meant spending hours in therapy—physical, occupational, and speech—all so he can keep up with the world around him. But Jase never complains. He works hard, pushes through, and keeps showing up with a smile that says, “I’m not giving up.”
Sweet Jase has never met a stranger. He notices when someone is hurting and always tries to help. He’ll wave to someone new, hug a friend, or sit quietly next to someone who needs comfort. Jase doesn’t just want to be included—he wants everyone to feel seen and loved.
His heart is big, his joy is contagious, and his dream is simple…to be part of the Nebraska Huskers—cheering on the football team from the sidelines, watching the game with the players, doing gymnastics alongside the Huskers team, and being right there on the court with the basketball team. He wants to be included and feel the energy and excitement of being part of the team he loves most.
Jase is the epitome of a great teammate—loving, uplifting, and full of Husker pride!
