Meet Jayden

Meet Jayden, a courageous and resilient 14-year-old from Powdersville, SC. Nicknamed “PJ” (Pride & Joy) by his grandfather, Jayden is known for his bright smile, deep faith, and his immense love of Clemson football. Before his life-altering diagnosis, he was a running back for his middle school team and played clarinet in the school band—two things that brought him joy and purpose.

Jayden was diagnosed with a rare and painful condition called lymphatic malformation, which caused severe abdominal pain and took away his ability to walk. He endured countless medical tests, many surgeries, and long seasons of physical and emotional hardship. At one point, he relied on a transport chair just to move around, missing out on school, friendships, and the activities he loved most. The isolation and uncertainty were incredibly difficult—but Jayden never gave up.

Finding strength in his unshakable faith, the love of his mom, and a dedicated care team, Jayden is now walking again and slowly rebuilding his strength.

Jayden’s dream? To return to the field he once called home. He hopes to meet the Clemson football running backs, hear their stories, and learn how they push through challenges. He also dreams of joining the marching band for a pep tune, seeing himself on the Jumbotron, and sharing a special moment with Coach Dabo and The Tiger!

Jayden was chosen as a Dream On 3 recipient because of the incredible strength, faith, and determination he’s shown through all of the ups and downs. He inspires everyone around him—and now, he’s ready to stand on the famous Memorial Field and shout “GO TIGERS!” with a heart full of hope and joy.

Jayden's Dream

The day kicked off with excitement as the Dream Team delivered and set up Jayden’s custom yard sign—thanks to Hooray Yard Art—before transforming the Airbnb into a warm, Clemson-themed welcome space filled with gift baskets, posters, and Dream On 3 touches.

By mid-afternoon, Paul from Greenville Executive Limo Services arrived in a black Chrysler 300 stretch limo to pick up the Dream Leader and head to Jayden’s home in Easley for the official Dream Sendoff. The celebration included cheers, joy, and a special surprise: custom sneakers gifted to Jayden to start his Dream Weekend in style. After an emotional farewell, the family returned to the Airbnb to settle in.

Next, the team took Jayden to Alumni Hall in downtown Clemson for a $500 shopping spree led by Store Manager Jenna. All his new Clemson gear was dropped off at the Airbnb before one of the day’s highlights—Band Practice. From 4:30–5:30, Jayden joined the Clemson University Band for a behind-the-scenes experience that gave him a true taste of Tiger spirit.

As evening arrived, the Dream continued at Littlejohn Coliseum. Jayden and his family received early access, watched the men’s basketball team warm up from the home tunnel, and soaked in every moment before Clemson vs. Gardner-Webb. During the game, Jayden was recognized in front of the entire crowd—a powerful way to cap off an unforgettable first day.

The family ended the night back at their Clemson Airbnb, excited for what was still to come.

Day two began slow and sweet as the Dream Team cooked breakfast for Jayden and his family at the Airbnb. The relaxed morning was filled with laughter and music before the game day festivities began.

For lunch, the family enjoyed time around the Clemson tailgates, fully immersed in the sea of orange and the energy of Tiger fans. Excitement peaked when the “Dabolance”—the famous Clemson ambulance—arrived, driven by John Young, to give Jayden VIP treatment for the rest of the day.

The Gate 1 tailgate experience was unforgettable. Jayden took professional photos at The Rock, ran down the hill with his own special introduction, posed on the home bench and at midfield, and even joined the pregame parade with the band. Before kickoff, he and his family enjoyed field access—front-row to the stadium coming alive.

That evening, Caleb brought dinner to the Airbnb before Jayden continued the behind-the-scenes fun: watching Tiger Walk from the Oculus, touring the locker room, and standing on the sideline during pre-game. The family then watched the Tigers take the field, and during halftime, a heartfelt message for Jayden appeared on the big screen, met with enthusiastic cheers.

They ended the night back at the Airbnb, tired but overjoyed after a once-in-a-lifetime Clemson game day experience.

The final morning was simple and sweet. After sleeping in, the family packed up, enjoyed a team brunch, and headed home—hearts full from an unforgettable Dream Weekend.
