The Grandview High School Jr. Dream Team kicked Reese’s Dream Reveal off in style at their annual Dream Week, which culminates with a school-wide pep rally letting the Dreamer know that their Dream will be coming true! These students work overtime to ensure Dreamers are seen, valued, and loved, and we couldn’t be more grateful for their efforts.
Reese’s Dream Experience began in unforgettable fashion with a surprise limo arrival, ready to whisk him and his family away to the stunning Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center. From the moment they arrived, the team at Gaylord went above and beyond to make Reese feel like the VIP he is, with thoughtful touches, incredible views, and surprises waiting in their rooms.
But the magic didn’t stop there.
Reese was surrounded by a community that has rallied behind him every step of the way, including Grandview students who spent the entire semester fundraising to bring his Dream to life. He also reunited with his friends from Special Olympics, making the moment even more meaningful. Then, he was surprised with custom kicks from our friend, Breanna Berry!
The day continued with a visit to a sports bar where a Topgolf simulator was ready and waiting, giving Reese the chance to start living his Dream right away, swinging the club and soaking in every moment.
An incredible first day that set the tone for everything ahead.
Day two consisted of travel from Denver to Atlanta as well as a delicious dinner at the Battery, admiring the Braves stadium. An incredible welcome from our friends at the Signia by Hilton Atlanta included top tier service and accommodations. We were blown away by their love and care during the entire stay and we cannot thank them enough.
Day three was packed from start to finish with unforgettable experiences.
The morning kicked off with a true Southern breakfast before heading to the College Football Hall of Fame, where Reese was welcomed like a true MVP. The team went above and beyond, creating a custom display just for him and even surprising him with a “Player of the Week” feature on the massive stadium screen, a first in Hall of Fame history. It was a moment Reese will never forget.
After a behind-the-scenes tour and a shopping spree filled with his favorite Alabama gear, the group headed to Max’s Coal Oven Pizzeria, where Reese and his crew got hands-on, tossing dough, building pizzas, and enjoying a delicious, well-earned lunch.
Next stop: the adrenaline-filled Porsche Experience Center Atlanta.
Reese took the ride of a lifetime, hitting incredible speeds alongside a professional driver, drifting and racing around the track. And in a beautiful twist, the Dream expanded to include his sister Ava’s passion too, as she stepped into her own dream moment. With aspirations of becoming a mechanical engineer in the luxury car world, Ava experienced the thrill firsthand, asking her driver to go “as fast as possible” and soaking in every second.
After exploring the simulation lab and hearing stories behind iconic cars, the group returned to the hotel to recharge before heading out for Reese’s request: authentic Southern BBQ. Dinner at Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q delivered on every level, with incredible food and heartfelt hospitality.
A full day, a full heart, and still…the biggest moment was yet to come.
Then, the day Reese had been waiting for finally arrived.
Before sunrise, the group made their way to Augusta for The Masters Tournament, where an unforgettable experience awaited thanks to the incredible team at Coca-Cola Bottling Company United and Barbara Frano.
At the Coca-Cola House, Reese and his family were welcomed with open arms, endless hospitality, and a moment that brought everyone to tears as he was presented with his official Masters tickets. To make it even more special, he was gifted tickets from all four previous days as keepsakes to remember this moment forever.
From there, Reese headed to the course in VIP style, arriving just in time to watch Jordan Spieth, his favorite player, tee off. The day only got better from there.
He explored the course, soaked in the beauty of Augusta, and even called back on the iconic Masters pay phone to share that he was having the “best day ever.”
From shopping at the legendary merchandise store to trying every iconic menu item, and finally securing a front-row view at Hole 18 to watch Rory McIlroy sink a birdie putt, every moment felt surreal.
The family took it all in together, the perfectly manicured greens, the sparkling water, the once-in-a-lifetime atmosphere, even stopping to touch the grass just to make sure it was real.
They returned that night exhausted, overwhelmed with joy, and filled with gratitude, replaying every moment of a day they’ll never forget.
