Meet Sammie, a fun-loving 12- year-old from Atlanta, GA! This athlete loves to compete in the Special Olympics and is a huge fan of women’s sports. Volleyball, softball, soccer…you name it and Sammie loves it!
Sammie is a social butterfly that enjoys being around others and making friends. However, this 12-year-old lives with a chromosomal and seizure disorder that often creates an unwanted divide between her and her peers. Often, Sammie’s differences result in her feeling excluded and isolated. During these moments, Sammie leans on her family and embraces their unconditional love!
This Atlanta, GA girl is passionate about her beloved Yellow Jackets. When Sammie, learned she had been selected as the upcoming Georgia Tech Dream Recipient she was overcome with joy! Her sports Dream is to experience Georgia Tech sports, with her new Collegiate Dream Team friends!
