DO3 Announces Expansion into Denver Metro Area

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Denver, CO (May 18, 2021) – Charlotte, NC-based Dream On 3, a nonprofit that makes sports dreams come true for youth (ages 5-21) living with a life-altering and life-threatening medical conditions such as cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, autism, etc., is expanding to the Denver/Boulder area. Dream On 3 was co-founded in 2012 by CEO, Brandon and Elizabeth Lindsey, Brandon’s wife and the organization’s Executive Director.

“Extending our outreach to the Denver Metro area is a natural progression for our growing organization, said Brandon Lindsey, referencing Dream On 3’s vision of being in 10 locations in 10 years. “We have been talking to a dynamic group of Coloradans for the past 18 months and now, with the threat of COVID-19 lessening, our Charlotte (home base) team thought this summer would be an amazing time to kick our expansion into high gear.”

Home to many professional sports teams, compassionate healthcare providers, and like-minded nonprofits (a.k.a. “partners”), Denver is ideal for Dream On 3 to grow their footprint Westward. Dream On 3 is planning to launch all its program offerings to the area: Dream ExperiencesDay Dream eventsJr. and Collegiate Dream Teams, and DreamBoxes.

Advisory Board Member Rob Bain, with deep ties to Dream On 3, is equally as confident about the expansion. “Dream On 3’s expansion to the Denver metro area is extremely exciting given the broader community’s generosity and willingness to participate. This expansion effort will enhance DO3’s Rocky Mountain presence and elevate the organization’s mission on a national level, which will allow us to assist more kids across the country. We couldn’t be happier to welcome Dream On 3 to the Mile High City!
