Meet Andrew, a kind and quiet-natured 12-year-old from Hudson, NC. Andrew lives with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Riley-Day Syndrome, Pelvic Floor Dysfunction, Congenital Redundant Colon, and as a result of all of his conditions, he also battles severe fatigue. Despite the challenges Andrew faces, he gives every day 110% so much so that you may not realize when he isn’t feeling well.
Andrew’s medical conditions require physical therapy 3-days a week and on the days he’s in school, half days are all he can manage. In his free time, Andrew enjoys playing basketball outside. When playing basketball tires him out, you can find him watching it on TV. Andrew loves the New York Knicks, especially MJ Walker and Ryan Arcidiacono! His sports dream is to visit Madison Square Garden to watch a game and hopefully experience a Knicks win!
