Sweet, loving Carson is your typical 12-year-old. He enjoys reading the “I Survived” book series, he considers playing the Xbox a hobby, he LOVES building with Legos, and his favorite school subject is Social Studies. One aspect of Carson’s life does pose a challenge – he lives with cerebral palsy. Carson was born prematurely at 30 weeks and many times children who develop cerebral palsy are born early. In an effort to help his condition, he has endured multiple surgeries on his lower extremities, and he receives injections to control leg spasms. He can walk unassisted, but just for a couple of feet. At times having CP is tough for Carson, because all he wants is to play sports and be accepted by his peers.
Though his condition may hold him back from participating in certain activities or riding a bike, it does not stop Carson from living his best life! Carson has a close relationship with his two brothers, one is older and one is younger, and he is very social. He loves to go-kart and ride his ATV! But, if there is one sport that this young “gear-head” really gets into, that would be DRIFTING. Carson catches himself watching just about anything professional rally driver, Ken Block, does. He loves seeing Ken control the drift in his crushingly fast 1,400-HP Hoonicorn Mustang V2. Carson feels the need for speed and his sports dream is to meet Ken Block and watch him drift in person. No jackrabbit starts allowed though!
