Meet Jameson

Meet Jameson, a friendly and compassionate 10-year-old from Morrison, CO. This young man strives to have a positive impact on everyone he meets and has a heart as wide as Colorado!

Unfortunately, Jameson suffered an in-utero vaccine injury causing him to be born with congenital hypertonia, which causes extreme tightness of the muscles.

However, Jameson doesn’t let this slow him down one bit! He loves sports, but especially mascots! Jameson enjoys learning about the different mascots across multiple teams and leagues, and cheering them on.

When he’s not watching, playing, or reading about sports, you can find Jameson eating enchiladas and creating photo collages and drawings of his favorite mascots, teams and players.

Jameson’s sports dream is to meet and spend quality time with every Denver professional mascot.

Jameson's Dream

Jameson’s Denver mascots Dream was a home run, touchdown, game winning shot, and more rolled into one! On Friday morning Jameson and his family were surprised at the park by the Dream Team and our friends from Martin Marietta, who sponsored Jameson’s Dream. They brought games and good times and perfectly set the tone for Jameson’s Dream weekend!

From here, the crew headed to Mile High Field to meet the Denver Broncos mascot, Miles. Not only did Jameson get a behind the scenes tour of the stadium he got to become MINI MILES! Jameson was over the moon being able to not only meet Miles, but also become the mini version of him.

After the stadium visit, Jameson was surprised back at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center by the hotel’s mascot, Rowan the otter! The Gaylord Rockies Resort provided exceptional accommodations and the family loved being able to spend time swimming! The hotel even surprised Jameson with his very own custom cake at dinner.

On Saturday, the team started the morning with another swim at the hotel and then headed to lunch at Punch Bowl Social, who treated everyone like ROYALTY! Not only did they provide a top notch experience including bowling, food, and time at the DJ booth for Jameson, Jameson was able to play games and bowl with FOUR Denver area mascots thanks to the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Rapids Soccer Club, Colorado Mammoth, and Colorado Avalanche. Jameson even got to present Rocky with a drawing he made in honor of Rocky winning the NBA Finals, which Rocky absolutely loved.

After Punch Bowl Social, the Dream Team headed to Lighthouse ArtSpace Denver where Jameson and his sister were completely mesmerized. After this, the crew headed back to the Gaylord Rockies Resort for more swimming.

On Sunday, Jameson was welcomed on screen at the Colorado Rockies game and got to spend time on field with Dinger the dinosaur! The crew stayed all nine innings and Jameson enjoyed a shopping spree at the team store.

On the way home, Jameson was asked about his favorite part of the weekend and he replied, “every. single. thing.”
