Meet Janelle, a lively and spirited young lady from Charlotte, NC! This 20-year-old has a passion for all sports, but the one closest to her heart is cheerleading. Janelle’s cheerful spirit and team-centered attitude make her a bright and encouraging cheerleader.
Living with Down syndrome and an intellectual disability has never stopped Janelle’s fun-loving personality from shining. Janelle’s family and friends say that she is a great listener and she always makes everyone around her smile with her warm personality.
The University of North Carolina at Charlotte Collegiate Dream Team has selected Janelle as their 2025 Dream recipient. The UNCC CDT will be working hard to ensure her dream to cheer at a Niners basketball game comes true.
