Meet Joseph and Joy – our first set of sibling Dream recipients!
Joseph, age 16, and Joy, age 10, both live with Down syndrome. This dynamic duo loves playing basketball for their local Special Olympics team and takes any opportunity they can to sink a basket.
Both on and off of the court, Joseph and Joy are each other’s biggest fans and cheerleaders. Their happiness radiates and it is a joy to be around them.
In addition to living with Down syndrome, Joseph has also undergone multiple surgeries and is on a number of medications due to health complications. He is unable to participate in activities for long periods of time, but Joy is always by his side to cheer him on.
Joseph and Joy are never caught without a smile on their faces and we cannot wait to make their ACC Basketball Dreams come true…together!
