Day one kicked off with a magical surprise for Kaylee. The University of Colorado Collegiate Dream Team showed up at her house with bright, colorful signs and an abundance of excitement, ready to kick off a weekend full of dreams come true. As the limo pulled up, Kaylee’s eyes lit up with joy, and she and her family were whisked away on a limo ride full of singing, dancing, and endless laughter. The air was filled with her favorite tunes, making the moment feel like a movie scene. Kaylee shared that Red Robin was her go-to spot, as she’s absolutely obsessed with their chicken fingers. After a delicious Red Robin dinner filled with even more singing and joy, the limo ride back to Kaylee’s house was filled with smiles, and we all knew day two was going to be just as dreamy!
Day two started with even more surprises. Kaylee woke up to find a beautiful yard sign showcasing her favorite characters, but the best surprise was yet to come. As she stepped outside, none other than Elsa herself appeared from the limo, sending Kaylee into a world of wonder! The excitement and magic continued as the family danced and sang their way through the limo ride to Boulder, filled with anticipation for what was to come.
Upon arriving in Boulder, the dream truly began. We toured the state-of-the-art football facilities, each step bringing Kaylee closer to her cheer experience. The group had lunch with the most breathtaking view of the mountains, and the awe-inspiring landscape from the football stadium left everyone smiling. Afterward, Kaylee and her family enjoyed a special shopping spree at the Boulder team store, surrounded by the excitement of choosing all her favorite gear.
The magic continued as we made our way to the dorms where Kaylee prepared for her moment. She changed into her cheer uniform and got glammed up with makeup, each moment making her feel like a true star. Finally, we arrived at the event center, where Kaylee was given a special entrance to meet the Boulder cheer team. The energy was electric as she stepped in, leading cheers, connecting with each team member, and sitting down with them, surrounded by her cheer idols, as they learned more about our amazing Dreamer.
The day wrapped up in perfect harmony as the entire CU Boulder CDT team gathered at Raising Cane’s to celebrate Kaylee’s dream weekend. The magic of the day filled our hearts, and we knew we had just witnessed something truly unforgettable. A dream come true, in every sense of the word!
