Kyle's Dream

On Friday, Kyle was awestruck when the Dream Team and his family surprised him at school to kick off his Dream weekend. He loved meeting everyone, especially his new friends David and Holly from Volvo Construction Equipment, our national Collegiate Dream Team sponsor.

From school, Kyle jumped in a limo and headed directly to the campus book store for a shopping spree! After getting decked out in brand new gear, Kyle and the Dream Team made their way to Watsco Center, home of UMiami Men’s Basketball. They enjoyed an arena tour and watching team practice. Kyle was greeted by the team and coaches with open arms and had the very best afternoon. After an incredible time at practice, Kyle and the Dream Team made their way to Kyle’s FAVORITE place for dinner…Mcdonald’s! The entire University of Miami Dream Team joined Kyle as they enjoyed great laughs before Kyle’s big day.

Day two started with the most important meal of the day at Craft Miami. After breakfast, Kyle and the Dream Team headed to the arena to get ready for the big game. Upon arrival, Kyle headed to the floor to watch warmups and was greeted by Sebastian and members of the cheer team. Soon after came Kyle’s big moment! During the game, he was introduced on court as a special guest of the school and the crowd went WILD! He was able to shoot around on the court and even got to race against one of UMiami’s wide receivers! Kyle finished strong with a massive slam dunk, and the crowd erupted! Kyle spent the rest of the game smiling and the cherry on top was a thrilling WIN!

After the game, Kyle went back to the hotel and did a little bit of swimming before heading over to TopGolf with the CDT for some food and fun! Kyle loved every minute of the smiles and laughs with the incredible Miami CDT. A seriously stellar weekend for all involved! Thank you to everyone who played a part of making Kyle’s weekend so very special.
