Monique's Dream

Monique had a fantastic Atlantic Coast Conference Dream weekend thanks to our friends with the ACC!

Day one kicked off bright and early on Saturday morning. Monique was surprised at her house as she discovered her ACC Women’s Basketball Dream was coming true! Sweet Monique had been waiting patiently for us all night and was so excited to give our team friendship bracelets. In turn, the Dream Team gifted Monique her very own trophy and custom jersey!

Monique traveled in style to Greensboro Coliseum and participated in FanFest where she won some sweet ACC gear. We then headed into the semifinal games and watched as Notre Dame Women’s Basketball and Wolfpack Women’s Basketball take the win in their respective matches. During halftime, the ACC Network invited Monique onto their set to hang out with the announcers, which she loved. Thank you Kelley Gramlich and Ivory Latta!

Once the games ended, the crew checked into Grandover Resort & Spa, a Wyndham Grand Hotel, where Monique was surprised with a gift basket and balloons. She quickly changed into her swimsuit and enjoyed some time in the pool. Afterwards, the crew ended their night with a delicious dinner at Finial.

Day two started with a delicious breakfast at the hotel followed by Monique absolutely dominating in bowling at Triad Lanes Bowling Alley. Then it was back to FanFest at the coliseum before watching Notre Dame Women’s Basketball defeat NC State Women’s Basketball in a real nail biter. The game was electric and Monique was overjoyed! Our friends at the ACC even recognized Monique in the game with a special gift. The crowd went nuts and everyone around her gave lots of high-fives.
