Parker is an extraordinary 13-year-old from Sharpsburg, Georgia, whose strength and determination shine even through the toughest of battles. When Parker was just 10 years old, doctors discovered a large brain tumor after he began experiencing severe headaches. He underwent intensive chemotherapy, and for a time, his family believed the cancer was gone. But just 10 months later, during a routine scan, they received devastating news—the cancer had returned. This time, Parker needed even more aggressive treatments, including full brain and spine radiation and an additional 24 rounds of chemotherapy.
Despite these relentless challenges, Parker has faced every obstacle with incredible bravery and a positive spirit. Even during treatment, his greatest wish was to feel like a normal kid. He missed months of school and battled through the side effects of treatment, but his doctors cleared him to play tackle football with a port, giving him back a piece of the life he loves.
Now, Parker’s scans are stable, but his journey is far from over. He continues to undergo quarterly MRIs, faces cognitive challenges from radiation, and requires hormone therapy due to damage to his pituitary and thyroid glands. Through it all, Parker remains an inspiring, upbeat kid who lights up every room he enters with his energy and passion for life.
A devoted sports fan, Parker especially loves football—watching it, playing it, and cheering on his favorite teams. His ultimate sports dream is to spend time with Tim Tebow and experience the excitement of college football as a VIP!
