Parker's Dream

Meet Parker

Parker is an extraordinary 13-year-old from Sharpsburg, Georgia, whose strength and determination shine even through the toughest of battles. When Parker was just 10 years old, doctors discovered a large brain tumor after he began experiencing severe headaches. He underwent intensive chemotherapy, and for a time, his family believed the cancer was gone. But just 10 months later, during a routine scan, they received devastating news—the cancer had returned. This time, Parker needed even more aggressive treatments, including full brain and spine radiation and an additional 24 rounds of chemotherapy.

Despite these relentless challenges, Parker has faced every obstacle with incredible bravery and a positive spirit. Even during treatment, his greatest wish was to feel like a normal kid. He missed months of school and battled through the side effects of treatment, but his doctors cleared him to play tackle football with a port, giving him back a piece of the life he loves.

Now, Parker’s scans are stable, but his journey is far from over. He continues to undergo quarterly MRIs, faces cognitive challenges from radiation, and requires hormone therapy due to damage to his pituitary and thyroid glands. Through it all, Parker remains an inspiring, upbeat kid who lights up every room he enters with his energy and passion for life.

A devoted sports fan, Parker especially loves football—watching it, playing it, and cheering on his favorite teams. His ultimate sports dream is to spend time with Tim Tebow and experience the excitement of college football as a VIP!

Parker's Dream

Parker had the sweetest weekend in Atlanta for the SEC Championship thanks in part to our friends with the Tim Tebow Foundation!

On Friday Parker was surprised with a behind the scenes tour of the incredible Georgia Aquarium. He was able to watch the sea lion holiday show and check out whale sharks and stingrays up close and personal. After a delicious lunch at Superica and an afternoon out on the town, Tim Tebow joined Parker and his family for a private dinner. They loved spending time together and getting to know one another as well as throwing the football and talking all things sports.

On Saturday, Parker loved riding around Atlanta in a limo before heading to the SEC Fanfare event. While there, he enjoyed just about every game possible – cornhole, baseball, football, the 40 yard dash, and more. Here, Parker and his family were invited to go behind the scenes of SEC Nation, where Tim is a host. Before heading to the stadium, Tim surprised Parker with field passes for the big game, which he couldn’t have been more excited about. Being such a big football fan, Parker studied up on each team’s roster before heading to the sidelines.

While on the sidelines, Parker met Texas icon, Matthew McConaughey before heading to incredible seats to watch the game where #5 Georgia pulled off an incredible overtime stunner, beating #2 Texas 22-19.

On Sunday, the family enjoyed brunch before being surprised with tickets to the World of Coca-Cola, which Parker loved. The weekend wrapped with a ride home in the limo, where the family soaked in their last bit of this incredible weekend together.
