Aidan's Dream

When you meet Aidan, you cannot help but feel inspired. His smile is contagious and his “can do” attitude is truly inspiring. When you learn that he has been battling T-cell lymphoblastic leukemia since October 2021, you cannot help but be amazed. Not only has he been having a hard time with fatigue, but he also has had to endure intense weekly treatments (which will last through June). At the end of his weekly treatments, Aidan will begin monthly treatments for up to 3 more years. The battle will not be over for Aidan, but his PMA (positive mental attitude) will help carry him to the finish line!

A true sports fanatic and “triple threat,” Aidan has always played baseball, basketball, and football. Unfortunately, having leukemia has robbed him of PLAYING the sports he loves, but he is still a huge fan – attending every high school game he can and cheering on his siblings when they play.

Aidan is a huge fan of the NBA and has been since he was just 6 years old. His favorite players are Michael Jorden (the GOAT) and LaMelo Ball of the Charlotte Hornets. He enjoys studying player and team stats, and he knows many factoids about each team. It is easy to say, basketball (specifically the NBA) is his passion and he dreams to one day be a pro himself.

Aidan’s sports dream is to attend the NBA All-Star weekend. To see all of those amazing players, in one place, over the course of just a couple of days, would truly be a dream come true for this strong and determined young man.
