Meet Myles

Meet Myles! This 16 year old dreamer from Memphis is a go-getter and does not let any challenge stop him from accomplishing his goals. Myles loves playing football and basketball, and always strives to be the best teammate and player that he can be.

Playing college football and making it to the NFL has been a lifelong dream for Myles. Unfortunately, Myles was involved in an accidental shooting that has put his football dreams on pause. His hard working mindset continues to impress his doctors, nurses, and physical therapists. He believes that one day he will be able to accomplish his football goals as he refuses to let his accident stop him from chasing his dreams.

Myles has started playing adaptive basketball and will be traveling to Colorado to try adaptive horseback riding and hand cycling. The athlete in him never stops as he continues to try new sports! Life did not stop after his accident and with the support of his parents, nothing can stop him.

The Cowboys are Myles’ favorite team and he looks up to the way many of their athletes play. Myles’ ultimate sports dream is to meet Jerry Jones and have a VIP experience at a Cowboys game!

Myles's Dream

To kick off Myles’ Dream, the dream team arrived in Memphis to knock on his door and let him know that he was heading to Dallas for Thanksgiving! Our friends with DWB Kustom Coatings & Accessories were on site to give Myles a ride to the airport in style in their signature truck.

After landing in Dallas, we headed straight to the Mavericks game, which was a complete surprise for Myles. The Mavericks rolled out the red carpet and escorted the group to sit courtside for warmups. Myles was able to meet a number of players including PJ Washington and Wesley Matthews. Then we were completely surprised by Cynt Marshall, the Mavericks CEO and Patrick Dumot, one of the team owners! Myles was gifted a signed Kyrie Irving jersey along with a number of other gifts from the Mavericks. Our time courtside even ended with Myles being interviewed on the Jumbotron!

The group then enjoyed a VIP dinner while watching the Mavericks beat the Knicks. Afterward, we checked into the Hyatt Regency, which provided a fantastic suite filled with snacks and Cowboys gear for the whole family.

Day two started with heading to the sidelines at AT&T Stadium where a number of players came over to talk to Myles and his family. While Myles loved meeting Ezekiel Elliott, he was thrilled to meet legendary Cowboys owner, Jerry Jones. Dream. Come. True. As we were heading up to our seats, the family met Michael Irvin who was happy to chat up a storm.

After heading to our seats, the Cowboys brought a Thanksgiving dinner for all to enjoy. The game was incredible and fun to watch! Before the game ended Myles enjoyed a shopping spree picking out a number of new Cowboys items.

The night ended at the hotel bar where Myles and his family along with the Dream Team sat around and talked about all of the best part of the weekend. Myles said he loved every minute of his Dream Experience, but meeting Jerry Jones was 100% his favorite part!

Thank you to our friends at the Shepherd Center for referring Myles to the Dream On 3 family.
